Technical Support Advisor

Do you have technical knowledge of Professional AV equipment, Projectors, CCTV / Security Technology or Professional Broadcast Cameras? Maybe, you have previously been an engineer in any of the above fields and would like to gain experience in an office based support position? If yes, we want to hear from you!

Our global client, with offices in North Cardiff are looking to fill a new post within their international Contact Centre, which will see the successful candidate supporting their Customer Service Advisors by providing a Technical Support Advisor function for technical or more complex customer queries in relation to the above skill set.

Job title: Technical Support Advisor

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Location: North Cardiff (free on-site parking)

Pay rate: £20,000 to £22,000 per annum (£10.00 - £11.00 per hour)

Hours: 38.75 hours per week, Mon to Fri shifts between 8am - 6pm

To be successful in gaining an interview for the Technical Support Advisor role, candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • Professional AV including Flat Panel Display and Projector
  • CCTV / Security Technology
  • Professional Broadcast Cameras

In addition, successful candidates are likely to possess the following key skills:

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, listening and written
  • Teamwork abilities
  • Trouble shooting skills
  • Experience of customer contact activities
  • Logical and clear thinking
  • Good judgement and initiative where necessary
